Life Sciences & Culture Bonn (Study Abroad Program)
This program has been established in the year 2006 as a joint program of LIMES and the Harvard University (USA, Massachusetts, Boston) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA, Wisconsin, Madison). The program is funded by the DAAD. Participating institutes belong to both the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and to the Faculty of Medicine. The program which is offered to very excellent undergraduate students includes a 2 months scientific project integrated into ongoing Life Science research activities of a host lab in Bonn and a broad range of cultural activities including language courses and sight visits. The program is restricted to very excellent students only. We plan to extend our interaction with Harvard University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison to the level of the Graduate Schools by exchanging students and also faculty.
